Francesca Rosso

Francesca has always been interested in movement and writing.

She graduated in Cinema History and Critic with a thesis on Pina Bausch and got a Ph.D. in dance in Bollywood cinema.

She is a professional journalist and writes on culture for the newspaper La Stampa (Turin edition).

She has been dancing since she was a child and has explored many styles, from Afro to Dance-theater, from Butoh to Odissi – which she studied in Bhubaneshwar, India.

She teaches yoga and practices Kalarippayattu, an Indian martial art.

She discovered meditation at the beginning of 2018 thanks to the Mindful Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) protocol and Mindful Torino’s relational mindfulness protocol.

In the meantime, she deepened her knowledge of Yin Yoga and participated in retreats with the monks of the Santacittarama forest.

In February 2020, she got a Master’s degree in Mindfulness at University ‘La Sapienza’, in Rome, with a thesis on Mindful Cooking and the cuisine of Zen monasteries. This brought her to Japan, where she followed Terrapura practices and seminars of Master Dario Doshin Girolami.

She is the co-founder of Adesso Mindfulness with Marco Mosca. She is also training as a Mindfulness protocols instructor at UCSD School of Medicine, San Diego, California.

Francesca offers simple practices of mindfulness, the intentional art of living moment by moment, without judgment, and in full presence.

The sessions are suited to everybody.
