Ella Rothschild

Born in Israel in 1984, Ella is a choreographer, artist and multidisciplinary dancer. 

She has danced with Inbal Pinto and Avshalom Pollak Dance Company and Batsheva Dance Company under the artistic direction of Ohad Naharin. 

Since 2010, Ella begins to create her own works in collaboration with different artists of different disciplines. 

His work integrates dance, visual art and music. Rothschild was nominated for the Ophir Theater Award for Best Theater Choreography in 2015. 

She received the Dudu-Dotan award for best performer in 2013. In 2016 Ella received the Rosenblum Performing Arts Award from the city of Tel-Aviv as the best promising choreographer of 2016 and in the same year received the recognition award from the Ministry of Culture. The choreographic works Acord, 12 Postdated Checks, Judah, Jesus With Soy, Sal and Flood from 2016 until 2017, have been presented in the theaters of New York, Tokyo and Tel Aviv. 

She is currently working on the re-elaboration of her site-specific work Dood and is working on her new creation which will debut in November 2017 together with the musician Gershon Waiserfirer.
